Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 19, 2026

1. Who we are

Metriq (“Metriq”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is an analytics platform that connects to advertising accounts and business data sources you authorize, aggregates the resulting performance data, and surfaces it to you and your team through messaging interfaces and dashboards. The service is operated from Ukraine.

This Privacy Policy explains what data Metriq accesses, how it is used, where it is stored, and the controls you have over it. It applies to the website at metriq.cc and to the Metriq service provided to authorized users.

2. What data we access

Metriq does not collect data passively. Data reaches Metriq only when you, or an administrator of an account you control, explicitly authorize Metriq to access it.

Advertising performance data. When you connect an advertising account (e.g. Meta Business Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads), Metriq retrieves aggregated campaign performance metrics through the respective platform’s official API. These metrics include, but are not limited to: ad spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, conversion values, click-through rates, cost per click, cost per mille, reach, frequency, and video engagement. Metriq reads metadata required to interpret these metrics, such as account, campaign, ad set, and ad identifiers and names.

Business data sources. When you connect additional sources such as Google Sheets, Notion, Airtable, or internal systems, Metriq accesses only the specific resources you authorize (for example, a specific spreadsheet or database), limited to the scopes you grant.

What we do not access. Metriq does not request or process end-user personal data from ad platforms (such as the identities of people who saw your ads), creative assets beyond what is needed to display a campaign name, or data outside the scopes you have explicitly authorized.

3. Authentication data

To access the APIs above, Metriq stores OAuth refresh tokens, API access tokens, developer tokens, and service account credentials provided during integration setup. These credentials are used solely to call the respective platform APIs on your behalf. They are never shared with third parties.

4. How we use the data

  • To aggregate performance metrics across platforms into unified reports, dashboards, and digests.
  • To apply rule-based anomaly detection (for example, flagging significant week-over-week changes in CTR or CPC).
  • To convert monetary amounts to a single reporting currency using publicly available central-bank exchange rates.
  • To deliver summaries and answers to authorized users through messaging channels (such as Telegram) and the web interface.

We do not use authorized data for advertising, resale, profiling of end-consumers, or training general-purpose machine-learning models.

5. Large language models

Metriq uses large language model (LLM) services to generate natural-language commentary from the structured metrics described above. Only aggregated metrics (not raw user-level data from the ad platforms) are sent to the LLM provider. LLM providers are bound by their own privacy terms and do not retain prompts for model training under the terms Metriq has configured.

6. Where data is stored

Performance metrics and authentication credentials are stored on infrastructure controlled by Metriq and located in Ukraine. Data is accessible only to authorized personnel for the purpose of operating and maintaining the service. Backups are retained on the same infrastructure.

7. Data retention

Performance metrics are retained for as long as the connected account remains active, plus 90 days after disconnection, to allow for historical comparisons if the account is reconnected. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 9).

OAuth tokens and credentials are deleted immediately when you disconnect an integration or request account deletion.

8. Sharing and disclosure

Metriq does not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing, advertising, or profiling purposes. We disclose data only:

  • To infrastructure providers strictly necessary to operate the service (e.g. hosting, email delivery), under confidentiality obligations.
  • To the LLM provider used for narrative generation, as described in Section 5, and only in the aggregated form described there.
  • When required by applicable law or to respond to valid legal process.

9. Your rights and choices

You can, at any time:

  • Revoke Metriq’s access on any connected platform directly through that platform’s integrations settings.
  • Request a copy of the data Metriq has stored about your connected accounts.
  • Request correction or deletion of that data.
  • Withdraw consent and close your Metriq account.

To exercise any of these rights, contact admin@metriq.cc. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.

10. Security

We protect data with access controls, encrypted credentials at rest, TLS in transit, and least-privilege operational practices. No internet-facing service can be guaranteed fully secure; if we discover a breach that affects you, we will notify you promptly.

11. Children

Metriq is a professional tool not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be announced to active users by email before taking effect.
